Art Exhibition - Paint My World

We used primary colours to paint our paper. We mixed the colours to get the new colours. We then drew our koru patterns and cut them out. We  arranged them on black paper to make the colours show out.  Come and see our Art Work this week 25^th  – 27^th August, the exhibition is open from 8:30am until 5:30pm.

I Am Learning About Punctuation

Today we read the story 'Roller Coaster Ride' on Sunshine Online. After we had read the story we had to put the punctuation in the correct places.

" I enjoyed this story and activity. When I made a mistake I had to try again until I got it correct."

I Am Learning About Describing Words

We have been learning to make our stories more interesting by using describing words. We wrote a sentence using describing words and then we used Kidpix to publish it.

"My describing words are pretty, yellow, beautiful and sparkly. It was fun to draw and write on the computer. I'm going to try to remember to use describing words in my stories to make them more interesting."

Learning to Paint

We are learning to mix and blend colours. We used our skills to paint a sheet of paper. We then cut the paper into leaf shapes and arranged them on a blue painted background.
