 I was learning to sort animals into the correct habitats.I can now sort animals in a second with lots of practise. It was easy because I know lots about animals.

I was learning how to measure and estimate lengths.I can measure by using rulers to measure them. It was easy because measuring is just using things to measure the length and estimating was easy because all we did was guess how long the length is.

We were making Matariki stars for Matariki to make it you would need a plate lots of different coloured wool and scissors. It was hard but it did end up wonderful.

I was learning to summarise the beginning middle and end of stories.I can now summarise stories of any type.It was easy because I usually understand stories.

I was learning what exponents are. I know how to do exponents it the big number times its self the amount the small number is. I was easy because when I wanted to learn it so I did now I'm learning it again so thats why it is easy for me.

We were making a video about numbers in maori I  learned how to say 20 I learned it in groups. I made thirteen out of chess pieces . It was fun!

I now know were to put capital letters for names. It was easy because I already know where capital letters go.

I was learning to make inferences and make a guess using clues. I can now make inferences using clues to help. It was tricky because I didn't know which one was a clues.

 I was learning how to use place value with three digit numbers. I can now count and add numbers using place value. It was easy because one hundred was a huge square of blocks ten was just a stick and 1 was one single block

My Welcome Post 2018

Hello and welcome to my year 4  learning blog. This year I am in Rm 12 and my teacher is Miss Lister.  I have had a great time so far and I hope it stays like it is.  My goal is that I'm going to be sensible in class and don't call out.  I enjoy playing the math, reading and normal games they are so amazing so I like them.
